Anthony David Gonzalez, a former American tight end who played 17 seasons with the National Football League. Gonzalez is regarded as one of the best tight ends in history. In addition to being the NFL's leader for receiving yards, and the third-highest total of receptions, Gonzalez was also the NFL tight end with the most receptions.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end with the Kansas City Chiefs as well as Atlanta Falcons, is currently employed at FOX's studio. Gonzalez has appeared on FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's 1-hour NFL pregame show prior to FOX NFL the SUNRISE) that airs each Sunday at 11:00 AM ET throughout the NFL season.
Gonzalez's claims of retiring from the NFL after 2013 was not true. On the 15th of March 2013, Gonzalez agreed to sign with the Falcons the two-year deal worth $14,000,000. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the league's top player in active yards recieving the last time during his playing career.
